I discovered Lisa Schroeder's work initially with this lovely bedtime rhyming book and I've been following her career (via blog) ever since. For the next two weeks she is posting on her "Find positive energy here" blog. Very inspiring so take a peek and get motivated while you were on your own goals.

Five Things Friday

* The board books are a go! I can't wait to get started on them. I will be illustrating them in my traditional felt style, not digital.

* When "daddy" came home from his 2 month temporary duty, he brought home a "Wii" for the kids.
I'm hooked on this..

I know I have deadlines!

Hi gang! Here is my latest digital felt. I had this made up into postcards to see how they printed and I have to say I am thrilled with how the digi-felt reproduced. One of the difficulties I normally have are my reds and pinks "blowing out" and it always makes me cringe.

Summer has officially begun here in Nevada. The kids are out of school and "daddy" is home. Life is good.
We need to enjoy the summer because in only 4 short months we'll be on our way to New Mexico. I'm in denial. We still have boxes in our garage from the last move. 3 years FLEW just like this doggie.
