The kids are officially back to school this week and we are all trying to adjust to the new schedule. Three kids in three different schools and times...ack!
So of course the best thing to do to help with the transition is... get a PUPPY! Totally rational, don't you think? ;o)
Here's the new member of our family, Lily. She is a 10 week cream pomeranian. If she were brown , she'd look like a hedgehog. She is as sweet as can be...but a maniac! I have tried to get pictures of her when she shoves her head into Valentine's mouth or hangs off of her chest hair. Unreal! Valentine is being so patient with this little thing that thinks she is the size of a doberman.
Life is good.
What a cute little ball of fluff!

NO! Lily not the 10 Little Lady Bugs! How will they ever fly home?
Lily is going to start a new category in book reviews.
"Lily thought this was a good chew!"

hahaha! Amy, you're right. Nuts is my middle name. But the kids are helping out a lot and they are even in charge of the early morning potty training so it's not too bad.
=o)

This just prooves the theory I have held all year long. It is a two parter/ "What were THEY thinking?" and" What was I thinking!?"
Somehow those two questions follow me all day long now...as we begin a busy fall schedule, plan on having my mom move in with us with her 'cat' and plan to adopt a shelter dog just to round out the family. It all makes sense somehow.
I remember having three kids at home in three different schools at three different times of arrival and departure. I worked part time then and it seemed that once 2:30 came I was in the car from then until 6pm just picking up and dropping off.
Roz, you may need a secretary by the time your schedule really begins to rev up. All the best to the kiddies, the new puppy, and Valentine.

Okay it's official, you are under arrest for posting something WAY too cute! I've called the cute police! I am such a sucker for puppies and then you add Valentine's tug of war photo with the little one. Awwww! Congrats on your new puppy. I'll always remember my first days with Risky - so special. Wish I had gotten more photos like you have here.

wander’d lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host , of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
