Done!

This past week I finished up the last of the work that I was assigned early in the summer. Phew! I feel like a weight has been lifted. But I also feel absolutely drained too. I kept thinking how wonderful it would be to get finished so that I could begin working on some of my own story dummies. I could deep clean the house and declutter the closets. I could even work on some holiday decorating!

But what am I doing? Putt, putt, puttering the days away.

oh well.

Pincushion Challenge- Recycle

Here is my contribution for this months pincushion challenge, "recycle". He was a real hoot to make!
Okay...I'm sorry, that was bad.

The recycle comes in with the flowers. They were originally on my last pincushion when I used them for my flowering cactus.

Why did you take them off?

Well, I was working on an assignment and ran out of the orange beads that I was using so I "stole" them off the cactus.

Sure, I could have just replaced the beads with another color, but this was more fun.
