Here is a poem I illustrated for this months edition of "Click!" Magazine (September).
Guess what? I am currently illustrating the very same poem for another publisher. What are the odds! I just hope the author likes my style since she is having to see her cute poem illustrated in felt again.
I'm really enjoying the experience of getting to illustrate this poem twice. The new illustration is pretty different from the first and I will share it once it's published. Here is a portion of the sketch until then.
What are the chances of that? I hope you will be allowed to post both illustrations in color. Your work is delightful! I really like the two different approaches. You have a wonderful way of showing the poem in such different images.

What a great illustration - I love it! And how fun that you're illustrating it for another publisher too.

That's so exciting! I bet the author will love both. I know I'd love to have two illustration versions of the same poem. Two for the price of one! HA!
Oh, and congrats on that cover for High Five. How cute!

Roz, I just love your artwork. It's ALWAYS warm - it's a rare gift to bring that kind of life to illustration.
