I learned 2 important things last week:
1) Never throw away my old sketchbooks.
2) Make time to doodle instead of just using my sketchbook as a place to record phone messages and grocery lists!
This most recent illustration was inspired by this sketch from 2001!
Yep, even if it's just chicken scratch, it's enough. Enough to get the old wheels turning.
The bear blowing bubbles is really cute! I like the beads (they are beads, yes?)for bubbles--works very well.

My best pieces are from sketches that I did wayyyy long ago when the boys were little. You are right even if it's just a doodle

How cute. I hear its suppose to be in the high 50's, maybe 60's here later this week. I will probably be acting just like the happy puppy & rabbit.
