I love reading about other people who have taken something they love to do and turned it into a career.
What I love even more is when they share their struggles, failures and wrong turns that eventually turned into right ones.
I can relate to those stories and it helps keep me motivated that I too can accomplish my goals and that it's possible to be successful doing what you love.
Inspiration is everywhere around you.
One of my favorite channels is the food network. I don't cook much myself -maybe because my kids are in that phase where they think Mcdonalds is a major food group - but still I love to watch. One of my favorites is Paula's Home cooking. I first began watching her because, oh boy, I love her kitchen and garden! (they film her at home) The more I watched, the more I saw passion for what she does just oozing out of her.
Here's her story. It wasn't an easy road for her and it didn't present itself to her immediately. And again... it was a road filled with potholes. I hope this inspires you today as it did me.
ps. To read all three pages of her journey, you click on the green labels above the text.
That´s why I love reading other peoples blogs! I started doing so about a year and a half ago. It was a real blessing for me! I´m in the middle of changing my life from studying law to a more creative path (I´m not telling yet!). Reading about how other people had gone through transitions like these has given me a lot of courage! It made my plans seem a lot more realistic. For the first time, I began to believe, that living my dreams might be a possibility!
