As soon as I saw this weeks illo-friday prompt, "reflection", I was reminded of a dummy-book that I worked on several years ago.
It was during Susan Hartungs Illustration Course and I decided to create a dummy around Robert Louis Stevenson's poem, "The Little Land".
You know what...I may have to revisit this dummy. I think it just might have some potential!
Oh Roz...how wonderful! I hope you run with it! I love reading about how you think and what you ponder as an artist. I always learn from you, and I always leave inspired! Thanks!

Roz, I always, always love your illustrations. They are so sweet and wonderful and evoke little memories of being a child. =)

This looks like a great dummy Roz. It would be interesting to see what comes out of it if you decide to revisit it.

Roz, will you be working this up in color? I would love to see what the results would be.
The words reflect such innocence and wonder. Do you ever just wish you were wee again with no cares in the world but the loving warmth and comfort of your family? I know I do...

I love this drawing! I would never be able to draw a reflection like that! How do you do that? I would love to see more of this! I hope you will take up working on the dummy!
How are your moving preparations going, by the way? Hope you are not too stressed out!
