As you can see , I'm posting a pretty old illustration but It was what came to mind when I read this weeks challenge. This was done for a children's magazine and the story was about a little boy that didn't like eating brussel sprouts because they looked like little aliens to him. hahaha Cute story and was really fun to work on. Happy ending to the story , his mom talks him into eating the veggies. Will never happen in this household but I keep trying. =O)
This is great. I remember this illustration and the story you worked on. As usual, it is wonderful.
I agree about the list. Lots of fun art work to look at.

Very cute. I actully love brussel sprouts but they have to have butter and salt on them. The itty bitty baby ones are the tastiest :)

hahahaha, thanks Holli.
You know I'm the same, I like brussel sprouts too. For years I had to eat them with a lot of salt and vinegar. But now I cook them in chicken stock and serve them with crumbled bacon. (thanks RACHAEL RAY!) Delicious!

Adorable!! I also think brussel sprouts don't look fit for consumption. I did, however, enjoy employing them as little cabbages in dioramas in 3rd grade. =)

You give great inspiration to the mother who is trying to get her child to eat brussel sprouts. Cute illustration!
